Terms of Use
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to UniVR at univr.app. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Who we are
UniVR is an immersive learning platform connecting educators and learners. The service is provided on an early-access basis; features may change.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to create an account.
- One person per account — do not impersonate others.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other members.
- Post unlawful, misleading, or infringing content in profiles or messages.
- Spam connection requests or unsolicited messages.
- Attempt to access others’ private data or bypass security.
- Use automated tools to scrape the site or overload our systems.
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules.
Profiles and Discover
Making your profile public in Discover is optional. You control what you share. Public profile information may be viewed by anyone with the link. You can turn off public visibility or delete your account at any time from your profile settings.
Connections and messaging
Direct messaging is available only between members with an accepted connection. Either party may remove a connection. Blocking prevents further contact. We do not routinely monitor private messages but may review content if required by law or to enforce these Terms.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload (profile text, photos, messages). You grant UniVR a limited licence to host and display that content solely to operate the service — for example, showing your public profile in Discover or delivering your messages to a connection.
Intellectual property
The UniVR name, logo, website design, and marketing materials are owned by UniVR. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.
Disclaimer
UniVR is provided “as is” during early access. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, VR course content, or specific educational outcomes. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that should survive (e.g. disclaimers) remain in effect after termination.
Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with an updated date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or on the site.
